I love korg

I bought my first analog synthesizer in the fall of 2001.
After saving up $500 for a number of months from allowance,
I went into a vintage musical instrument shop that specialized
in vintage instruments--especially analog synthesizers.
As I entered the store, a Korg MS-10 immediately came into view.
I approached it, but was intercepted by a shaggy-headed employee.
He took me to a remote corner of the store, and showed me a PolySix,
saying, "this is the most underrated synth...it sounds so much fatter than the MS-10."
Indeed, it did. And, I could play more than one note at a time.
I sat with the PolySix for at least 10 minutes and decided to
buy it. I said, "I want this one," gave him the $500, and left.
I love my Korgs, and I love their adverts. Alas, I wasn't alive
to see them--I was sold on their bold, obese tone; it was harsh, but
I knew that, in time, I could tame this beast. My next
Korg purchase was the Lambda--pictured in the adds above.
They are still beasts, and I am still trying to tame them, but
I love Korg.
