LIVE CULTURE

haute nav

hot navigator

cybergunner

The Spacefighter

comin' up fast

keep the viewers

interested cause I'm watchin'

the explosion, the corrosions

on the liquid, crystal, screen.

listenin' ta music while i'm watchin' tv.

it works for me, but r u making my tea?

men in orange suits re-emerging from the smerge

how could they be real, when everyone's in sleds

headin' to get dead.

dogs in a house i made, a house that i designed as a mall

he's runnin' up the escalator

comin' down the elevata

If we could be one and leave everyone

maybe we could live at my place, inhabit some space

roamin' the room and looking for a clue

species of a mollusk stuck to the corner

he's lookin' at me like i'm the loner

dogs in house i made, a house that i designed as a graveyard

we're runnin' up an escalator

we're fallin' in a percolator

how could this be,

runnin' silently

slowly plotting, and plannin'

arresting ourselves just to get free

(v)

Always winnin' two thousand miles away

so I had to fix this car, the house

and live the life of an honest man

(v)

Very nice modification, extra special eco-location

Bon voyage, it's a woman in ur hands

where we can see her lyin' in the sand

(p.c.)

Do you know,

Where we can seeeee them,

are they alone,

or are they Hi--ding

(c)

what ya gonna do with ur life

you tell me it's so expensive

and when the sun goes down

just rememba to keep ya dark shades on

(v2)

Fuck with me and we'll see

who eats shit on that side-walk

Make it lower, go ta bed

(v2)

what are you plannin' to do

hidin' in a cave, where u don't

even know

what time it is....

(instrumental bridge)

(p.c.)
Do you know,
Where we can seeeee them,
are they alone,
or are they Hi--ding

(c)
what ya gonna do with ur life
you tell me it's so expensive
and when the sun goes down
just rememba to keep ya dark shades on

repeat with nasty heavy bass, keys solo, drum fills, fade out, etc.

pretty pictures, on the wall
even though its far past full
don't know when we'll reconvene
but I know that we can just be theives
(hard synth thrash) (Screamed): until it's done
until it's done
i will, i will, and I know that i'll never be seen
we can, we can, always convene
In a hive, how could this be the end
its just a dive, when there's still something
left to send
how could breaking, create a transmission
that exists only in a silent treatment (treatment treatment)
silent treatment, treatment treatment (repeat, drums drop out, ghostly synths, fade out)

I love korg

I bought my first analog synthesizer in the fall of 2001.
After saving up $500 for a number of months from allowance,
I went into a vintage musical instrument shop that specialized
in vintage instruments--especially analog synthesizers.
As I entered the store, a Korg MS-10 immediately came into view.
I approached it, but was intercepted by a shaggy-headed employee.
He took me to a remote corner of the store, and showed me a PolySix,
saying, "this is the most underrated synth...it sounds so much fatter than the MS-10."
Indeed, it did. And, I could play more than one note at a time.
I sat with the PolySix for at least 10 minutes and decided to
buy it. I said, "I want this one," gave him the $500, and left.
I love my Korgs, and I love their adverts. Alas, I wasn't alive
to see them--I was sold on their bold, obese tone; it was harsh, but
I knew that, in time, I could tame this beast. My next
Korg purchase was the Lambda--pictured in the adds above.
They are still beasts, and I am still trying to tame them, but
I love Korg.
