Welcome to Shut(er)eyes, a new blog. I use this space to post my pictures, text, video etc. with a special focus on the unseen; the details that pass us by when our engagement to the external world is altered or modified. I use the digital camera to become blind. When i take a photo, i am altering my perception to the external world through the lens. In this sense, we metaphorically "shut" our eyes when we look through the lens of the camera--hence the name of the blog. These pictures were all taken in the backseat of a car, during a meandering (and geographically confusing) journey through Boston, Cambridge, and Belmont. Thanks and come again!
